The 2025–26 Union Budget brings significant momentum to the real estate sector, with a strong focus on affordable housing, infrastructure development, and tax reforms. Key announcements include the completion of 40,000 affordable homes under the SWAMIH scheme and the launch of a new ₹15,000 crore SWAMIH 2 fund to support one lakh additional housing units. A ₹1 lakh crore Urban Challenge Fund has been introduced to boost infrastructure projects, indirectly supporting real estate growth.
